Alex Naico
Voice & Piano
Born and raised in Irving, Alex began singing at the age of 9, and has been an active vocalist ever since. Alex studied voice with Professor Heidi Klein at Texas Woman’s University and vocal pedagogy with Dr. Jeffry Tarr. Additionally, Alex studied piano with Dr. Danny Milan and Mrs. Natalie Joyner also at TWU. While there, they were actively involved in TWU’s auditioned SATB ensemble, Chamber Singers even serving as the president in their 4th year. Alex had the distinct honor of working closely alongside Dr. Joni Jensen as a handpicked officer team. Alex was also actively involved in the Honors Scholar Program at TWU and completed a research capstone in their 4th year entitled, “A Spectrum of Voices: A Guide to Empowering Gender-Diverse Singers in the Secondary Choral Classroom,” advised by Dr. Jeffrey Tarr. Alex graduated Summa Cum Laude from TWU in December of 2025 with a Bachelor of Music degree with EC-12 Teacher Certification.
Alex currently resides in Denton, establishing themself as a first-year music educator. In their free time, Alex enjoys completing puzzles, crocheting, crafting, and spending time with their friends and family. Alex is very passionate about teaching music to all populations of people and most enjoys the joy and connection music fosters between individuals. They are proud to be a practicing musician and music educator, and to contribute to their services to their community.
